Awards & Other Opportunities
The Gold and Silver Awards are the highest honors that can be earned by
Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts, respectively. To receive these awards,
girls must meet requirements that help them prepare for, and complete,
a special project benefiting their communities. Girl Scouts of
Birch Trails has developed its own informational packets to assist
girls who are working for these awards and their advisors.
The Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout
can earn, requires her to learn the leadership and planning skilles
necessary to follow through on a porject that makes a positive
impact on her community. Working towards this award demonstrates
her commitment to helping others, improving her community and
the world, and becoming the best she can be.
Gold Award Recipients
The Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, demands efficient organizational, time management, and leadership skills, while developing skills in career exploration, self-discovery and service.
