P.A.L./Outdoor Skills

Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18
Camp Birch Trails located in Irma, WI

This outdoor opportunity is open to girls finishing sixth grade and older who wish to help at day camp as a PAL.  This all-day session will offer hands on experience to help you with such things as fire building, cooking, house keeping, songs, games, and more.  There will also be an adult group for any volunteers who wish to take their troop camping or volunteer at camp.  The Saturday overnight is optional.  Sunday will wrap up between 10:00 and 11:00 am. WELCOME TO GIRL SCOUTS/ORIENTATION ONLINE

Receive basic information to help you, as an adult Girl Scout,
begin to work with the girls in your troop.
Please follow the registration process to do online training:

For first time participants/learners type http://training.girlscouts.org
in your browser’s address line and press ENTER.

Select BASIC ORIENTATION.

You will be asked to log in.

Select REGISTER.

Complete all of the required fields (marked with an asterisk)
and complete the entire registration process.

Once you have logged in/registered, the site will take you
to the first page of the training module.

Only have 30 minutes?--Simply log off and come back to where you were in the training.
Nine petals need to be completed to receive credit for the training.

CPR & FIRST AID – Do you need First Aid or CPR training? Please check with your local hospitals, fire departments or Northcentral Technical College for scheduled classes offered to the public. Upon receiving your certification, please make a copy of your card and submit it to the Girl Scout Office, ATTN: Ronetta. (It is recommended one person in each troop is certified.)
